Rewarding achievements and values
Cécile Le Couédic, an Entrepreneurship student at HEC-Montréal business school, received the Kruger Entrepreneurship Scholarship on March 28, 2012.
This distinction is awarded to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration Program at HEC Montréal. Each year, the best project is selected, be it business creation, integration into an organization or family business succession.
This year’s Kruger scholarship recipient stood out because of her impressive achievements, including various awareness campaigns she had carried out among HEC faculty and students on behalf of HumaniTERRE. She also founded her Student Association’s Sustainable Development Committee.
In 2009, Cécile coordinated the first Carbon Exchange Simulation for which she was presented with a Recognition Award in the Knowledge Development category by the HEC Student Association.
The scholarship awarded to Cécile on behalf of Kruger will help to build the International Karumbé Centre for the conservation of sea turtles, a project carried out in partnership with Karumbé, a Uruguayan NGO.
