$23,000 for the Kruger Team

On June 8, Kruger employees and their guests took part in the 2013 Cycling Challenge for Cancer Patient Care. Over $23,000 were raised by the Kruger Team cyclists to benefit the Northern Lanaudière Health Foundation.

The event was held in the same region where the Kruger Products Crabtree Mill is located. Kruger was the main sponsor of this year’s Cycling Challenge for Cancer Patient Care. Stéphane Lamoureux, General Manager, Eastern Region for Kruger Products, was the honorary president of this fourth edition.

Even the gloomy weather didn’t stop our athletes from riding their chosen distance of 80 or 160 km.

The event being a fundraiser first and foremost, each participant had committed to raising at least $500 to help the Oncology Department at the Lanaudière Regional Hospital Centre. 

At the end of this day, a check of $120,400 was presented to the Northern Lanaudière Health Foundation.
