Brompton Employees Support Arts and Culture
The Kruger Brompton Mill Employees’ Charitable Association handed a $2,500 cheque to the Maison des arts et de la culture de Brompton (Brompton centre for arts and culture) at a September 5 “Beer and Sausage” benefit event chaired by Dr. Réjean Hébert, Minister of Health and Social Services, Minister responsible for Seniors, Minister responsible for the Estrie region and MNA for the riding of Saint-François. More than $13,000 was raised during the evening.
DONATION MADE POSSIBLE BY GANNETT
The donation was made possible by the Gannett Supply Corporation, a major customer of Kruger’s Publication Papers sector, which presented Kruger Inc. with $10,000 in recognition of its 2012 Gannett Supplier of the Year Award. The money will be donated to various charitable organizations selected by Kruger’s paper mills.
Gannett, a leading international news and information company, publishes no less than 80 dailies in the United States, including USA Today. Gannett has named Kruger Inc. supplier of the year nineteen times in the past.
