Supporting the next generation

Nine scholarships from the Gene-H.-Kruger Fund were awarded to students in the Faculty of Forestry, Geomatics and Geography during Laval University’s annual scholarship award ceremony held on March 21, 2013, in Québec.

Jonathan Perron, Manager, Forest Operations and Procurement, presented the scholarships along with Bernard Garnier, Vice-Provost, Academic and International Activities, and Robert Beauregard, Dean, Faculty of Forestry.

ABOUT THE GENE-H.-KRUGER FUND

Each year, Kruger Inc., through the Gene H. Kruger Fund, awards scholarships to students at several educational institutions in administration, science and engineering, particularly forest engineering, and pulp and paper studies.  Through this support, Kruger Inc. promotes advances in research and the emergence of a pool of skills in regions where it has operations.
