ORGANIZATION PROFILE
THREE GENERATIONS OF THE KRUGER FAMILY
Joseph Kruger founded the Company in 1904 by establishing a
fine paper business in Montreal.Hi son, Gene H. Kruger, became President in 1928, at the age of 25, and expanded
the company into the manufacturing of newsprint, paperboard and tissue.
A dynamic entrepreneur, Gene H. Kruger made Kruger what it
is today: an innovative organization focused on quality, technology
and productivity.
As Chairman of the Board and C.E.O. for over 20 years,
Joseph Kruger II has overseen the modernization
of the company and its expansion into forest and wood
products, specialty publication papers, tissue
manufacturing in North America, recycling, energy and wines and spirits, and put environmental protection at the heart of the Company's priorities.
Kruger Inc.'s activities are divided into two main divisions:

Industrial Products: Publication Papers, Forest Products, Containerboard and Packaging

Consumer Products: Tissue Products, Wines and Spirits
The Kruger Company also includes the Kruger Energy subsidiary whose mission is to develop and operate power plants in the field of hydro, solar, wind, biogas and biomass energy.
Lastly, the Company operates sorting and recovery centres that ensure a constant supply of recycled material for the production of recycled pulp and paper products in its mills.
